The build is the same work either way — the difference is who runs it afterwards, you or me. These are founding-client prices for the first three practices: they go up once I have three builds I am allowed to show, and whoever comes in early keeps the price they started at.

What does a custom clinic dashboard cost?

A one-time custom build starts at $300 and you own the file and the model. A fully managed dashboard — hosted, refreshed nightly and maintained — is $600 to set up plus $99 a month. Either can start with a $150 pilot on one month of your own exports, credited in full if you go ahead.

Do we need to get on a call?

No — and that is deliberate. The brief is six questions by email, the pilot arrives as a live page with a written walkthrough of every number on it, and revisions go back and forth in writing. It also means the whole thing is on the record: what a metric means and how it is calculated ends up written down, instead of said once in a meeting nobody took notes at.

How and when do I pay?

Three payments at most, and the first is the smallest. Once I have looked at your data I write back with what the page will show; then a payment request for the $150 pilot, by card or bank transfer, nothing to sign up for. You see the pilot on your own numbers and decide. If you go ahead, one more request for the rest, with the $150 taken off. Nothing is paid before I have looked at your data and told you what the page will show, so the pilot is never a guess. Every request comes with an invoice for your bookkeeper.

Why is this cheaper than an agency quote?

There is no team, project manager or sales cycle to pay for — one analyst does the work, and has already solved this problem for a practice that looks like yours. And these are founding-client prices: the first three practices get the work at a price that will not be on this page in a year.

How long does a build take?

A pilot page on your real data takes about a week. A full build is two to three weeks from the point the data starts arriving, assuming it is reasonably clean. Messy or multi-system data adds time, and I say so before starting rather than after.

What data do you need from me?

To begin with, only flat exports — the files your systems already produce, typically visits, appointments and a provider list. One month of them is enough for the pilot, and aggregated figures are enough throughout: no patient names, no clinical notes. Nothing is connected to your systems at this stage, and nothing needs to be. A live API connection is only set up on the managed plan, after the pilot, once you have decided you want the figures refreshing on their own.

Do you host patient data?

I do not host PHI. The managed dashboard runs on aggregated figures only — visit counts, revenue totals, utilisation by provider, appointment outcomes. Names, dates of birth and clinical notes stay in your systems, because none of the reporting needs them, and your figures are never resold, pooled or used to benchmark anyone else.

Power BI or a web dashboard?

Whichever your team will actually open. Power BI if you already run Power BI Desktop; a private web dashboard if you want a link and a login for the team. The build behind both is the same — only the shell changes.

Who owns the dashboard?

With the one-time build, you do — the file, the data model, all of it, with no licence tied to me. With the managed plan you own your data and can export it and take the build with you any month.

Can I cancel the managed plan?

Any month, with no exit fee. You get your data and the dashboard files. The plan should hold because you keep opening the dashboard, not because you are locked in.

I already bought a template. Does that count?

Yes — what you paid for a Lucid Vitals template comes off the price of a custom build. And often the template is genuinely enough: if it is, I will tell you that instead of selling you a build.
